Linguistics – English

This master’s program is aimed at in-depth study of the theoretical foundations of linguistics, modern linguistic analysis methods and the complex structure of the English language, and prepares linguists who are internationally competitive and capable of conducting scientific research.

📘 Scientific depth and modern approach
During the program, students will gain in-depth knowledge in areas such as phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics and translation studies. Practical skills in modern language technologies, corpus linguistics and discourse analysis are also developed.

⏰ Form of education
Education is conducted on a full-time basis. Students develop their knowledge and skills through practical exercises, scientific seminars and independent research. Classes are conducted in Uzbek and English. This allows students to analyze the English language theoretically and actively use it in a scientific and practical environment.
